A 4 or 5 day practical course covering the RYA Day Skipper Motor Cruising Practical Day Skipper syllabus. On successfull completion the student will be able to skipper a motor cruiser by day in familiar waters. The course covers all aspects of motor cruising with the main thrust of the course safety and boat handling . Pre course requirements should be the RYA Day Skipper theory certificate and the Helmsmans Certificate but each student can be assessed on experience levels prior to the course.

The Certificate can be used to apply for an International Certificate of Competance from the RYA to allow boating in the rest of Europe.
